BIO

Yongqi Liu is a fashion and portrait photographer residing in New York City. He brings a clear and detailed perspective to his work, demonstrated through the projects he leads. As a freelance photographer of many photography platforms, he has worked with many artists, brands, and magazines. He is a contributor to Getty Images, NYFW, and Vogue Italia. His work was featured in Vogue, Elle, BAZAAR, COSMOPOLITAN, Photo Vogue, etc.

More than ten years of practicing both traditional Chinese and western percussion instruments, the opportunity opened for him to join the orchestra and he has become an award-winning performer. This expression and experience of musical art started him thinking about the differences between eastern and western culture and endeavored to combine ancient Chinese elements and western culture. This was the motivational key to combine the two cultures into his photography work.

After receiving a Bachelor's degree at Tianjin University in China, he started his business both in China and the US. He is now pursuing a Master's degree at Columbia University in the City of New York. The media company he founded won an annual competition held by the Chinese government and the Chinese embassy in New York City, and he was invited to attend the 2018 entrepreneurship summit in Guangzhou, China. He was also invited to Fashion Week in Paris, New York, Shanghai, and so forth.

His photography team covers New York Fashion Week Shows since 2017. Brands include Hugo Boss, Alexander Wang, Bibhu Mohapatra, Anna Sui, LaQuan Smith, Tom Ford, The Blonds, Esteban Cortazar, Leanne Marshall, Son Jung Wan, Lan Yu, Vivienne Hu, etc.

刘永奇是一位居住在纽约的时尚摄影师，他在中美两地创办了自己的传媒公司。本科毕业后，他前往美国哥伦比亚大学攻读硕士学位，开始在纽约的摄影探寻之旅。十余年对中国古典民族打击乐、西洋打击乐的学习，以及在民族、西洋管弦乐团的经历，让他体会到中西方艺术、文化的交融之美。他喜欢拍摄结合东方元素的作品，并将自己对文化的理解这些融入其作品中。

他是国内外多家商业图库，包括华盖创意的签约摄影师与供稿人、纽约时装周官方摄影师等。他的作品发表在VOGUE Paris、VOGUE Italia、ELLE China等媒体，他合作的客户包括了时尚设计师、国内外时尚博主、服饰和美妆品牌、杂志等。
